Vacating in Naxos - Lagos Mare Hotel

I recently came back from Paris, with my bags full of newly discovered fashion treasures that make me smile a bit wider than usual!!! A girl just has to love fashion… but still its 40 degrees outside and I’m still in Athens, instead of relaxing under an umbrella somewhere in the Cyclades!

For those of you who actually can do this, in the following weeks, I have an amazing suggestion to make. I recently heard about it from a friendly couple who along with their daughter stayed in this boutique hotel in naxos and told me to write about it on my blog.

I also visited their website today, just to make sure it was an easytravellernotes, material and trust me, it is.

Lagos Mare, is one of the few luxury hotels in naxos, offering everything you can possibly need to have a great, relaxing and luxury break. From a spa centre, to swimming pools and bar, not to mention the baby sitting service provided during the evening hours!

My friends, as you can imagine, stayed in a family room, with pool view, two separate bedrooms and were amazed by the services provided by Lagos Mare. They went swimming every day in the hotel swimming pool which was crystal clear and also managed to steal a couple of open sea dives in the near by beach of Agios Prokopios.

And the prices? Well quite affordable I would say (God, I love websites with rate lists!!!)

Well that’s what I know about the hotel, but your comments are welcome.

One thing is for sure, next time im looking for a 4 star hotel in Naxos, Lagos Mare will be on the top of my list!!!!

Paris anyone?

It took a ten minute chit-chat with a girlfriend to convince me that my next trip should be in Paris….

Well its not everyday that a girl gets to know that even price tags on designer items can be slashed down by up to 80% during the summer sales in Paris!

Yeah, its true… so now we can stop wondering how so many Parisians manage to have such an amazing style.

For those of you who cannot take the next plane to Paris, I suggest doing some online shopping… Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché, Printemps, and La Samaritaine.

Mykonos Blu - The Photos

Santorini Grace – Stole my Heart Away…

Santorini is without doubt the most romantic destination in Cyclades, if not in Greece altogether. Honeymooners know that, young couples know that and now I know too!!!

When looking for accommodation I stumbled upon two amazing luxury hotels in Santorini, unfortunately one of them (Ikies) was fully booked for my selected dates, but I was so amazed by it that I actually visited it just to make sure that what was displayed in the website was actually true…. And it was!

I got luckier with the second one though, Santorini Grace, a newly launched boutique hotel in Santorini, overlooking the Caldera! I spent 3 nights, in the superior suite, which I am sure to remember forever!

If you are in love and choose this exclusive hotel to spend a couple of days with “the one”, then I am sure you will remember my words… Santorini Grace will make you fall in love AGAIN!!!!

Our suite was called “the Caldera Suite” and I highly recommend it. We had everything our own private plunge pool, a terrace overlooking the volcano, exceptional service and most of all… PRIVACY!

Mykonos- The european capital of nightlife

I knew i loved Mykonos but reading this article made my heart go boom boom boom!

Read on and you ll see why... cause when the Times write about the best european beach parties it sure gets my attention!

... and dont even get me started on Mykonos Blu, the amzing luxury resort, overlooking Psarou Beach.

I ve been there no longer than a month ago and since then i keep thinking of my return. My return to the deluxe bangalow i was staying, with its own private pool, the romantic dinners at the gourmet restaurant of the resort and the beach of Psarou just bellow!!!
